Rochdale MBC are currently looking for a PR and Marketing Officer to join on a 6 month contract, on a full-time basis.
The post holder will work with the PR and Marketing Manager and with services to implement a standardised approach to the provision of information, using templates and focusing on the needs of the target audience, the performance requirements of the service - and the potential to generate efficiencies/ensure higher quality outputs/outcomes through rationalisation.
The post holder is also required to play a key role in providing a comprehensive strategic communications service, including undertaking daily media relations work at a local, national and trade level. He/she is also expected to lead on and contribute to marketing campaigns, working on a project/account basis.
This post is supported by a PR and Marketing Assistant and the post holder will be expected, with the support of the PR and Marketing Manager, to supervise the work of this post and delegate work as appropriate, providing support as necessary.
