Tameside MBC are currently looking for an experienced social worker to join their adoption team.
They require candidates with experience of adoption processes including Form F assessments.
Job Purpose
-To provide information to members of the public who express an interest in adoption.
-To prepare and assess prospective adopters.
-To make plans for and place children for adoption or in other forms of permanent placement.
-To undertake other duties appropriate to the Adoption Service function as requested by the Team Manager or Assistant Team Manager, Adoption & Permanency Team.
Current, enhanced CRBs and up-to-date registration with the GSCC are essential requirements.
