Our clients in Doncaster are currently looking to hire an experienced social worker to manage their excellent adoption team.
Candidates MUST have experience of adoption work and management experience.
Job Purpose
(a)To manage, in conjunction with a Deputy Team Manager, the Adoption Service, which is responsible for high standards in the recruitment, assessment, approval, training, support and reviews of adopters, and for administration of the Adoption panel.
(b)To ensure the strategic development of the Adoption Service in relation to the identified needs of Doncaster children.
(c)To ensure that professional guidance and support on adoption issues is provided for other professional staff, including those from partner agencies.
(d)To ensure that all Form F assessments are of a high standard and are quality checked before going to panel
(e)To ensure that all Child Performance reports, Adoption Support plans and Adoption Placement reports, completed by child care social workers are accurate, detailed and complete.
(f)To ensure that legal requirements, guidance, policies and procedures in relation to Adoption are complied with.
It is essential that candidates are GSCC-registered and have current. enhanced CRB checks.
