Leicester City Council are looking for 2 level 3 QSW to work within this busy children and families team based at Beaumont Way.
To apply for this post you must have:
- Social Work Qualification
- Driving License
- GSCC Registration
- A minimum of 3 years Post qualified experience within Child Care Work (preferably in a statutory setting)
- Evidence that applicant has managed complex/difficult Child protection work & initiating proceedings
- Able to write complex court reports/statements as well as giving evidence.
- A high standard of written & oral presentation skills required
- Experienced cross examination in FPC or County Court
- An strong understanding/experience of working in a multi-ethnic/multi cultural community
- Ability to work an IT system such as Care 1st.
- A strong understanding of legislation (i.e. 1989 Children Act, Assessment Framework, Every child Matters)
