Luton MBC are looking for a Planning and Development Manager.
This exciting opportunity has arisen within the Learning Disability Commissioning Team for an enthusiastic and well motivated person to gain experience of planning and service development work, primarily focused on adult learning disability services but also taking a lead role in the development of individualised budget and self directed care systems. The work will demand a good grasp of the emerging self directed care agenda in adult social care, strong research and analytical skills, good written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of the learning disability field and the ability to use your initiative in generating proposals for service development.
