CJIT Manager
Description:
The post holder will be an active member of the multidisciplinary Criminal Justice Intervention Team providing assessment, case-management, care and support through a team approach to people with substance misuse problems needs within the criminal justice system or who have been discharged from prison or custody.
Essential Skills
At least two years working in a frontline drug services.
Experience of working with people with substitute prescribing needs i.e. methadone/subutex.
Understanding of working with a hard to reach drug using population and the challenges in maintaining a therapeutic
approach within the criminal justice system.
A thorough understanding of the effects of substances on the individual -families and the wider community.
Knowledge of electronic case management systems. Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
