A PA is responsible for delivering a high quality Information, advice and guidance to young people between the ages of 13 - 19 years (and up to 25 for young people with special needs) on issues relating to education, training and employment.
It involves helping young people to remove barriers to their learning and to gain access to personal and social development opportunities, ensuring partnership work with schools, colleges and other youth support agencies.
Applicants need to be a Fully qualified Connexions Personal Advisor with at least one year's experience of inter-agency partnership work (Qualified Level)
You must have at least one year's experience of the use of IT in the working environment and one year's experience of working with vulnerable or disaffected young people.
It is essential that candidates must have a current CRB.
