A part-time vacancy has arisen for a Team Manager with the Care Management Team based in Ladywood.
The successful candidate should be an experienced Team Manager with a good track record of both management and practice experience in the areas of Child Protection, Looked After Children, and court work. The role requires a good knowledge base of current practice and thinking, and an ability to work with a mixed ability team, where there are both experienced social workers and practitioners who are fresh to the profession.
The Team Manager should also have knowledge and experience in HR issues, and performance management. To start asap; role is part-time, to cover Monday, Tuesday and possibly half day on Wednesday with the possibility of full-time from end of July. Duration of contract is 3-6 months, subject to review.
