As Swim recruits for vacancies where candidates may work with vulnerable people, safeguarding our locums is of the highest priority. All of our candidates are screened and go through a strict safeguarding process before we place them into a vacancy. Swim consultants are able to help and advise at every stage of this process.

Below is a list of documents that we request, however this list differs for each candidate and vacancy, and should be used as a guide only.

• Verified copy of Passport plus one other form of ID
• Eligibility to work in the UK/ Visa (if applicable)
• Copies of all professional qualifications
• Up-to-date CV and completed application form
• Proof of address e.g. Utility bill
• Referee details – full references will be requested and verified
• Professional registration if applicable; i.e. GSCC registration

Swim Recruitment is a Registered Body with the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and can apply for a CRB check on your behalf where necessary. If you already have a recent CRB disclosure, it would be helpful if you could forward a copy to your Swim consultant.

Swim can also help with training and developing your PRTL and Professional Development hours.
