Maxxima/Labmed awarded another contract
Maxxima/Labmed are pleased to announce that, following a tendering exercise involving all NHS approved locum agencies, we have been selected as Preferred Supplier for all temporary Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and Health Science Service (HSS) staff to NHS organisations throughout the East of England region.
There are over 40 different hospitals and Primary Care Trusts within the East of England NHS Region, serving a population of over 5.5 million people and covering the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. The organisations included within this contract are:

The contract is the result of a lengthy procurement process carried out by the East of England Collaborative Procurement Hub (EoECPH) and will operate under the terms of the current NHS PaSA/Buying Solutions National Framework Agreement. The appointment of preferred suppliers to NHS departments throughout the region streamlines the temporary staffing process across a host of professions, including:

* Physiotherapy
* Radiography
* Sonography
* Speech & Language Therapy
* Podiatry
* Dietetics
* Biomedical Science
* Pharmacy
* Cardiac Physiology
* Audiology
* Anatomical Pathology
By contracting Maxxima, NHS organisations throughout the region have access to discounted rates and greater peace of mind that necessary health and background checks have been conducted prior to the locum’s placement.
